UTECH Middle East/Africa Foam & Polyurethane Expo, the new exhibition and conference for the polyurethane industry in the Middle East and Africa, has been rescheduled to 7-9 June 2022, at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Organised jointly by Crain Communications and Media Fusion, UTECH Middle East/Africa Foam & Polyurethane Expo is co-located with Sleep Expo Middle East and Adhesives, Sealants & Bonding Expo.
“With more international travel restrictions coming into place after the emergence of the Omicron variant of Covid-19, it is now prudent for us to postpone UTECH Middle East/Africa Foam & Polyurethane Expo by a few months to allow our exhibitors and visitors to plan with confidence for a successful launch event in the summer,” said UTECH Trade Show Director Debbie Hershfield. “The exhibition and conference in Dubai provides a great opportunity to bring the UTECH polyurethane trade show brand to the rapidly-expanding Middle East and Africa region in June 2022.”
“Our June event will be the first opportunity for international and local players in the foam and polyurethane industry to showcase their solutions at the only dedicated trade show in the region,” added Taher Patrawala, managing director of Media Fusion. “Co-locating with Sleep Expo Middle East and Adhesives, Sealants & Bonding Expo has further strengthened the event by bringing the UTECH community together with two of the major end markets for urethanes.”
Crain Communications Global Polymer Group organises some of the global polyurethane industry’s largest trade shows including UTECH Europe, PU China/UTECH Asia and UTECH Las Americas. Polyurethanes are widely used in many of today’s most advanced products ranging from automotive interiors, medical devices, textiles, furniture and footwear through to insulation, adhesives and coatings. Show organisers expect visitors to UTECH Middle East/Africa Foam & Polyurethane Expo to come from businesses in Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.
