Girbau UK has appointed Tracy Britton to the new position of Business Development Manager serving on-premise laundry customers in the hospitality, leisure and healthcare sectors. She will lead Girbau’s consultative service to customers looking to renew or install on-premise laundries for the first time.

Tracy has nearly 20 years’ experience in key account management and business solutions roles.

“I am relishing this new role, and the opportunity to support customers in new ways,” said Tracy Britton. “While the durability, quality and value of Girbau laundry equipment gives us a unique position in the UK market, it is by supporting customers every step of the way from initial project scoping and design through to ongoing operational advice on achieving consistent quality and productivity, that really marks us apart.”

“Tracy is exceptionally well qualified to lead Girbau UK’s supportive and consultative approach to serving businesses looking to install or upgrade their on-premise laundry,” added Jeremy Challis, Sales Director of Girbau UK. “She has the knowledge and experience to enable customers to take full control of the quality and costs of their laundry.”

Girbau works with all types of on-premise laundry users ranging from large groups to independent operators. It offers energy efficient, high productivity laundry equipment for the ultimate in-house laundry operation that takes control of turnaround times, stocks and quality of finish. Support services include site surveys for refurbishment projects, laundry design and production of full M&E CAD drawings.

In healthcare settings, Girbau can also advise on all aspects of design and operation, including machine choice, laundry layout, clean and dirty area demarcation, disinfection, safe handling and operating procedures. Girbau’s Sapphire cloud-based laundry management system gives easy, flexible and versatile control of an on-premise laundry and can be used to configure washers to operate and record the use of thermal disinfection programs.

Girbau is the only company in the UK to manufacture, install, service and maintain a full range of commercial and industrial laundry equipment and has more than 60 years’ experience in helping customers to design, set up and operate laundries.
